Chinese BBQ Restaurant Review Really enjoyed our meal here! The BBQ was flavorful and well-seasoned, with a great balance of smoky, savory flavors. The meat was tender and freshly prepared, and the portions were generous. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was casual and comfortable. Everything came out fresh and hot, and the prices were reasonable for the quality and portion size. Definitely a great spot if you’re craving authentic Chinese BBQ. We’ll be back to try more dishes!

The food was excellent! The skewers were grilled to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor without being overly salty or greasy. Everything tasted fresh, especially the grilled eggplant, lamb skewers, and chicken wings, which were all delicious. The owner was incredibly friendly, and the service was attentive and welcoming. The atmosphere was relaxed and perfect for getting together with friends. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent place for your dining needs for any sort of dish! We were greeted by courteous staff upon arrival. Once hearing that we had a reservation, we were promptly guided to our table. Once there, they provided edamame and sunflower seeds on the house which was great. We ordered snow crab legs, several skewers and stirred fried squids which were excellent. We also took advantage of getting here early by ordering happy hour items that were great. Highly recommended and you won’t regret visiting this place.

Stopped by for a quick bite after work and this place hit exactly what I needed. Ordered the red willow lamb skewers and some十三香小龙虾 for sharing. The lamb was juicy with that slight char on the edges, really fragrant, eating it with a cold drink during happy hour felt kinda perfect, happy hour 羊肉串太爽了 tbh. The crayfish had a strong spice kick, hands got messy but in a good way. Staff moved fast, food came out steady, vibe felt relaxed, works for me.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a great experience at Gao’s BBQ & Crab in Milpitas! We tried their $88 Seafood & BBQ Feast, and it was more than enough food for 2–3 people. The seafood boil came loaded with shrimp (I swapped the crawfish option), lobster tail, corn, potatoes, and sausage. Everything was flavorful and cooked well. The BBQ skewers were a highlight—especially the Wagyu beef and Xinjiang lamb skewers, which were juicy and packed with smoky flavor. I also loved that the combo included a main dish, drinks, and golden fried buns for dessert, making it an excellent value for the price. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was lively and fun with live entertainment, great music, and plenty of menu options ranging from Chinese BBQ and seafood to noodles and desserts. It’s a perfect spot for a family dinner, date night, or gathering with friends. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to when I’m craving seafood and BBQ in the Bay Area!
